There are three off-road parking lots leading into the Joyce WMA on the east side of the Manchac Greenway – one is for the popular Joyce Swampwalk Boardwalk, one is at the entrance to Kliebert Ditch and the southernmost one apparently just goes into the swamp, no trails or waterways leading away from this spot are evident. Of course, when water is high in the swamp, you can pick your way around the trees in a small boat and go anywhere you like.
